Child custody is one of the most important and often most contentious issues in a divorce or dissolution proceeding.

In Florida, there is a presumption of what is called “shared parental responsibility,” that means, if able, both parents are entitled to be actively involved in their children’s education and welfare.

Where the child will live is referred to as “primary residential custody” and is decided by the court after taking specific factors into account. Nina Price has extensive experience resolving custody disputes and helping our clients negotiate custody arrangements that meet their goals. We also can help clients enforce custody orders and seek modifications when a change of circumstances requires a different arrangement.
